Anabela Chan is an award-winning jewelry designer and artist, who arrived at jewelry from a background in architecture, fashion and art. Born into three generations of film directors and cinematographers, Chan trained at the Royal College of Art and Gemological Association of Great Britain. She finds inspiration from her extensive travels to the orient and other exotic locals, collecting gems and treasures along the way from local markets, nature, and the intriguing people she meets. A champion for sustainable and ethical laboratory-grown gemstones, through an alchemy of precious, natural and man-made materials Chan combines elegant sculptural forms with dream-like romanticism and thought provoking narratives. Combining her love affair with gemstones and an obsession to detail and perfection, every jewel is hand-crafted individually at the workshop with the finest craftsmanship to create magical treasures of infinite colors and sparkle that are loved, worn, and collected alike.<\/p>\n
Originally trained as an architect and a specialist in print and embroidery design, Chan worked with Lord Richard Rogers and Alexander McQueen in London for seven years before returning to jewelry to launch her eponymous label in 2013.
