This campaign is to bring awareness of the multiracial identity crisis of mixed-race people in America; who struggle with questions of identity and where to fit in. Often feeling external pressures to “choose” a side, even childhood experiences can still have an impact into adulthood. The intent of this project is for people of all races to interact and see pull quotes of short essays of 6 mixed race young Americans in Vox’s Article: The loneliness of Being Mixed Race in America. Web graphics, and social media posts promoting to Vox's followers to read the article.

This project originally was designed as a poster series for mixed-race identity crisis awareness, but as I developed this project further I decided push these posters to other platforms as well. The solution of was to better promote Vox’s Article: The loneliness of Being Mixed Race in America. The design and imagery elements is carry over to the article itself as supporting web graphics. The web graphics are either shown at the beginning of each article or during the reading of the article.
These circles represent the one story in the article and her perspective of feeling she can never be enough or feel complete within themselves when around the other race groups. The shapes are not fully green to represent the two races.
This pattern represents different skin tones of people. Colorism plays a factor into a questioning one's identity. This poster serves as the intro into the poster tritpecth series.
These shapes represent a person of mixed race not being able to be themselves in different culture and racial groups. Each groups don't see the person as part of their culture but only a half and disregards their pride.
